The Description of MC74HC574AN
The device inputs work with LSTTL outputs when pull-up resistors are used, as well as with conventional CMOS outputs.
Data that is received by the set-up time is timed to the outputs using the clock’s rising edge. Flip-flop states are unaffected by the Output Enable input, but when it is high, all device outputs are compelled to be in the high-impedance state. Data may therefore be saved even if the outputs are disabled.
The flip-flop inputs are located on the other side of the package from the flip-flop outputs in the HC574A, which is functionally equivalent to the HC374A.
