The XTR105 is a 2-wire 4-20mA monolithic current transmitter with two precision power supplies. On a single integrated circuit, it provides comprehensive current excitation for platinum RTD temperature sensors and crossings, instrumentation amplifiers, and current output circuitry. A 2nd-order correction to the RTD is provided by versatile linearization circuitry, which typically achieves a 40:1 improvement in linearity. The gain of an instrumentation amplifier can be set for a variety of temperature and pressure measurements.
